SITE OF IMPACT: POLARITIES & PREPOSITIONS
Hand-bound saddle stitch binding letterpress printed covers. Collaboration between Leila Weefur & Shiloh Jines, made at the Eucalyptus Press, 2016. A collaborative installation which consisted of twelve letterpress prints, along with above chapbook. Each chapbook includes a letterpress insert that corresponds with a print that was in the installation.
“Know that each movement (in/out, on/off, up/down) implicates your body as you move through the time & space of binaries. & because every body is not this or that & because these terms we’ve created are exclusionary & destructive, hold close the symbol of the ampersand printed in the corners, insisting on a non-binary space—an act of binding, linking & cinching opposites.”

An interdisciplinary collaboration which combines video & artist book to explore the impact of racism on interracial queer relationships. The book component consists of a digitally typeset collaborative poem in two parts , which is intended to inform the viewers perceptions of the images occurring in the video.
